Welcome to the Three Waters Retreat Center, a center committed to your well being and personal growth. This is a sacred place of sanctuary in rural Kentucky. The center is across from Natural Bridge State Park, approximately 2 hours from Cincinnati and Louisville, and 1 hour east of Lexington. The center is surrounded by spectacular, natural beauty, and offers small, private retreats, and a site for programs that promote spiritual growth and healing. To view a map & directions, click here.
This center has been developed by Alan Hundley and Kathleen Matthews as a refuge from the fast pace of city living. Alan and Kathleen are a married couple, and both have private practices doing healing work in Cincinnati, Ohio. Both are spiritual seekers, with many years experience in Buddhist meditation practice and Yoga. They have also explored Inca and American Indian shamanic spirituality.
Weekend or longer retreats can be arranged at Three Waters, for groups of 6-12 that will be tailored to your specific interests and needs.
There is the opportunity for meditation, Yoga, body work, energy healing, sacred sauna, and fire ceremony. Healthy delicious whole foods meals will be served, with ample time for rest and quiet reflection while surrounded by the Appalachian foothills. One may take hikes in order to enjoy the natural rock formations and palisades on the Three Waters site, or on the miles of extended trails in Natural Bridge State Park and Daniel Boone National Forrest. At the end of the day one may choose to soak in the cedar hot tub beneath the stars or join a group drumming circle.
Three Waters sponsored Yoga and meditation retreats will be scheduled year round. For information, e-mail Alan Hundley at ahundley@threewaters.com.
